Our Wish List

Like most businesses we are always looking for ways to improve the experience customers will have when visiting our store. We are also constantly trying to help improve our community. As such, we have a list of items that we are looking for that will make our little shop even better. Craigslist has been great but the following are  things we are still need. If you (or anyone you know) have any of these items and are looking to get rid of or are willing to sell cheap please let us know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Customers! - First of all, please tell your friends about us and invite them to 'like' our Facebook page. Positive reviews on Google, TripAdvisor, and Facebook also really help!

Bird feeders, bird houses, bird bath, bird feed - We are working to make our store a haven for birds and other critters.
 

Push mower/weed whacker - We were able to rebuild our lawn (with a lot of hard work) and now we need to maintain it.

Small, movable, wood fire pit - We plan to start hosting outside events and a small bonfire fire would really tie the whole place together.

Compost - We are trying to expand our gardens and create a butterfly and pollinator habitat.

Compost tumbler - We'd like to be able to create our own compost too!

Small (handheld) vacuum - For the tough-to-reach places.

Mini-refrigerator - Do you have one laying around in your garage or basement? If so, we'll take it!

An Ipad or other tablet - We need this so we can accept credit cards.

Laptop - Even though we are super old-school, some tasks definitely need to be completed on a computer.

'Oriental' style rugs - We found a few so we really only need a few more, especially small ones.

Commercial coffee maker - Serving coffee would be awesome, especially since we now offer free, tasty treats!  

Record player - Seriously though, how cool would it be if we could play original vinyl?

Stereo speakers - Everything is better with music (especially vinyl...).

Anything to with Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Buffy, or Star Wars - Enough said.

Anything to do with whales - You should check out our bathroom...

Anything to do with sharks or wolves - Predators are the coolest! #WeLoveSharks #WeLoveWolves

Pencil sharpener - This would be super helpful. Especially an old-school, hand-crank pencil sharpener.

Projector- Books are always better than movies but movies can be pretty good too and we'd like to start hosting movie nights (as soon as we have the space...). 

Screen - If we can get a projector we'll need a screen...
 

Storage space - we need a place to store our surplus books; a nearby garage or barn would be perfect.

DVDs - DVDs aren't really our thing but it's nice to have some on hand, especially good ones.

Books! - We're literally overflowing with books but we're always interested in more; especially science fiction and fantasy, children’s books, local history, and graphic novels - somehow, we'll make them fit!

Items we no longer need (success!):

Outdoor table - Yay for tag sales!
Outdoor chairs - Come relax in our outdoor seating area.

Cash register - Now if we could figure out how to program it - thanks Allison!

Cake stand - Stop by on the weekend for free, tasty treats - thank you Jane!
Small microwave - Someone donated a toaster oven (which is WAY better) so we don't need this anymore - thanks Lori!
